Burndy Y45 HYPRESS remotely operated 10,000psi hydraulic crimp head provides 15 tons of crimp force with a “C” shaped head to allow easy placement and removal from continuous connectors. Dies and adapters lock into place via push button die locks in this forged steel and precision machined head. Male coupler provided for easy disassembly. For use on tension sleeves Cu 8-500 kcmil Al 6-954 kcmil and ACSR 4-795, taps Al 14-954 kcmil ACSR 6-795, HYGROUND Cu compression 6-500 kcmil grounding 1/2-1″ rods, Code Cable terminals and splices Cu 8-1500 kcmil Al 8-1000 kcmil, Code Cable taps Cu 14-1000 kcmil Al 14-900 kcmil.
